2. UK Sales Manager required to work within our sales
and marketing team with the
following
activities:
Reporting Structure:
Managing Director
Headline Responsibility
Sales - Work closely
with Managing Director to drive sales of all products sold by
VQ
through activities such as:
Demonstrations
of products
Attend meetings
to support senior team in any presentations
Attend conferences
to demonstrate and promote the service
Business Sales
- To manage existing designated accounts and grow sales, 
incorporating VQ
as a business proposition;
Reseller Sales
- To establish relationships with existing channel suppliers
Day to day accountabilities,
priorities, resources and issues that affect the 
business, marketing
and sales include:
Account management
Management of
the delivery of sales
Delivery of the
Budget
People relationships
(see below)
Reporting (sales
only)
Market awareness
- Business to Business
Ongoing accountabilities:
Delivery of Business
presentations and plans
Attend, and when
appropriate present at, key partner meetings and events involving
any
business accounts
Call Planning
Weekly forecast
of business
Key people to work with include:

Business Development
teams across the VQ business
External:
Business Prospects/Customers
Channel Partners
Suppliers
Key Skills & Background
Proven track record
in sales, some channel sales experience a significant 
advantage
General knowledge
of the b2b market and ability to communicate with people within
that
field
Qualifications
in business and or marketing/professional qualifications also an 
advantage but not
essential
An exceptional
communicator who is enthusiastic, a team player and 
entrepreneurial
in approach
General : VQ delivers class leading business quality videoconferencing
over IP. The candidate will work within the UK team working on next
generation conferencing solutions. We are looking for a bright, articulate
sales professional who delivers results. The successful candidate will
probably have a degree/masters and considerable experience in B2B and
Channel related sales in the communications industry.
VQ is a small, VC funded company. The environment is demanding but friendly.
