Known Problems - VQ V4.0 Client

 

 

Below is a list of known problems and some installation and network tips with VQ Version 4.0. We are working on each of the known problems and have also provided work arounds where possible.

Using VQ  
We have seen a couple of occasions when the user sees a Real Tunnel connection error the first time they try to log in. Close the VQ application and log in again.
When you join a conference, the VQ user interface displays a red and green icon, instead of just the red icon. Open.
We have seen a few instances of icons not matching on the presence list. If you see this, please contact VQ Customer Support.
When scheduling a VQ call, if the conference name is more than 10 characters, the text will wrap around on theVQ UI. Use a name less than 10 characters.
VQ microphone mute button does not mute the microphone when checked.

As a workaround, to mute the microphone you need to turn off the headset on the in line control (if you have one).

Network Bandwidth - usage tip.  
To reduce bandwidth consumption, if you are using an ADSL network, we recommend you do not send or receive emails or download files or browse the web, when you are in a VQ call.
